Tanacrex is an important manufacturer of garment accessories based in the indian ocean islands.
Founded in the 1980's, the company was originally specialized in the manufacture of shell buttons thanks to an unique expertise acquired from the last French button maker.
Today, Tanacrex employs more than 150 people and manufacture an extensive range of buttons (natural & polyester), labels and accessories for fashion houses and garment factories.
With an continious willingness to extend its collection with new models, the company is well known for the quality of its products and the possibility to create unique and personalized items on demand.
60% of its production is exported to Europe & USA whereas 40% is supplied to domestic & regional garments factories.
Tanacrex has the Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 certification for buttons.

Tanacrex is committed to the environment by reforesting 1 hectare of forest in Madagascar representing about 1000 trees over the year with the help of ECOVISION VILLAGE.
